Andrea Beaty is the author of several children's books, including Iggy Peck, Architect; Rosie Revere, Engineer; and Ada Twist, Scientist. Raised in a southern Illinois town so small that she knew everybody and their pets, she grew up loving Nancy Drew and then progressed to Agatha Christie and the classics. Her secret ambition is to star in a Broadway musical, and she is often tempted to break into song and dance at very odd moments.
